One Forest in the World, a new film by Fox & Bee Studio, offers a lively youth perspective regarding the importance of forests and especially the Cumberland Community Forest.   Young members of the Cumberland community share how the forest is a part of their lives and why they value this particular forest. The film was the result of a two day workshop offered by CCSS last fall. Students learned key documentary making skills including research, messaging and interviewing strategies.

One Forest in the World was collaboratively created by the Cumberland Community Forest Society, Cumberland Community Schools Society, the Comox Valley Global Awareness Network and beautifully filmed and produced by Fox & Bee Studio.  The film was funded by the Cumberland Community Schools Society, Fox & Bee Studio and the  BC Council for International Cooperation through Global Affairs Canada (formerly the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade).
