In our SPRING NEWSLETTER you will find information on our programs & services, as well as opportunities to volunteer and contribute. This spring, we are offering a variety of after-school programs for students in grades K-9 including soccer, bike club, beginners baking, woodland adventures and more. These programs are free of charge and include a healthy snack. Our Youth Centre is open 3 days a week for students aged 11-15, and our Girls Group continues to meet twice a month to share ideas and receive support on difficult issues.

Our 3rd annual Thunderballs fundraiser is scheduled for Monday May 23rd at 9:30 AM. This event features 4,000 golf balls rolling down Dunsmuir Avenue in an exciting race with 25 prizes to be won. 1st prize is $1,000 cash! Tickets will be on sale soon. Proceeds from this event support our lunch program, after-school programming and youth centre. This year we are stoked to announce that our major sponsor, the Mysterious Package Company, will be matching ticket sales up to $20,000! Join us in making this our biggest fundraiser ever.

CCSS programs & services are made possible by grants, donations, fundraising efforts and dedicated volunteers.
