THANK YOU to everyone who supported our 3rd annual Thunderballs fundraiser! Cumberland Councillor Sean Sullivan for MCing, the Cumberland Empire Events Society, our sponsors, our hard-working volunteers and the community members who purchased tickets and came out to watch this exciting event.

This year, the event raised a record $29,000 towards CCSS programs. This will provide 10 students with lunch subsidies for a whole school year, fund a full session of after-school programming and operate the Youth Centre for 3 months.

This would not have been possible without our incredible team of 42 volunteers, the generosity of the Mysterious Package Company who matched the $13,560 in ticket sales, and the support of the following Comox Valley businesses and individuals.
