Thank you to everyone who supported our 5th annual Thunderballs fundraiser! Councilor Sean Sullivan and Step Carruthers for MCing, Fox&Bee Studio for capturing the event on film, Colleen Lucas Design for creating the posters and tickets, the Cumberland Empire Events Society, our sponsors, our hard-working volunteers and the community members who purchased tickets and came out to watch this exciting event.

This year the event raised $21,195 toward CCSS programs! This will fund 2,200 lunches (subsidies for 13 students for a full school year), 18 after-school programs and youth centre operating costs for 2 months.

This would not have been possible without our incredible team of 38 volunteers, and the generosity of our sponsors: WestJet, Cloutier Matthews Chartered Professional Accountants, Gray Box Solutions Inc. and the many other local businesses who supported this event.
