Thank you to everyone who supported our 6th annual Thunderballs fundraiser! Councilor Sean Sullivan and Step Carruthers for MCing, Lucas Design for poster and ticket design, Sara Kempner for photographing the event, the Cumberland Events Society, our sponsors, our hard-working volunteers and the community members who purchased tickets and came out to watch this exciting event.

This year the event SOLD OUT for the first time ever and raised a record $22,300 toward CCSS programs! This will fund 2,960 lunches (subsidies for 19 students for a full school year), 18 after-school programs and youth centre operating costs for 2 months. 

This would not have been possible without our incredible team of 35 volunteers, and the generosity of the following Comox Valley businesses and individuals.
