The Society
CCSS is a registered charity dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Cumberland through food security initiatives, inclusive recreation and community development.
Operating independently out of the local school since August 2000, CCSS currently provides a Healthy Food Program, After-School Activities, Youth Centre, Community Programs and Food Share.
Our Mission
Working together to strengthen our community by improving access to healthy food, recreation, life-long learning and a network of support. CCSS aims to recognize and respond to identified community needs, and provide Cumberland residents of all ages with the support they need to live healthy lives.

Cumberland is a healthy, inclusive and vibrant community where all residents thrive through meaningful connections, security and a sense of belonging.
