Learn how to play the trading card game, build a deck, and become the ultimate trainer. The goal of this club is to learn how to build decks in a controlled environment, participate in weekly tournaments, and eventually become a gym leader that other trainers will challenge for badges. Learn the basics of weaving and macramé. Explore simple circular weaving while creating a woven bowl and/or cup, create your own woven bracelet/bookmark, and macramé key chain. Students will create fibre arts crafts using found objects in nature, items that can be found at home, and of course string/yarn. Beginner class with no previous fibre arts knowledge required.

Participants must have a 2024 UROC membership and take their bikes to Dodge City Cycles for a complimentary bike check. Group size is dependent on the number of volunteers. In partnership with Cumberland Museum & Archives. Get ready to explore and discover Cumberland's rich history and uncover some of its greatest mysteries in this exciting program. Solve murder mysteries, learn about the ghost haunting the mine, and participate in creative art-making projects connecting to community and culture at the Cumberland Museum & Archives. The instructor will meet students at the school and walk them to the museum. Students must be picked up (or walk home) from the Museum, 2680 Dunsmuir Avenue. No class Oct 31 or Nov 21.

A 5 week program for students who are new to mountain biking. Participants will gain confidence through skill development on school grounds. The program will finish off with a ride in the Cumberland Trail Network. Please note that this program is for beginners. Students who are already comfortable riding trails can sign up for Bike Club. Loaner bikes & helmets are available for those who don’t have their own.
