CCSS offers programs for Cumberland residents of all ages. Join us to learn new skills and connect with folks in your neighbourhood. Contact us directly to find out more or register for programs.


Celebrating the joys & challenges of motherhood. A drop-in program designed for moms with babies to toddler aged children. Guest speakers, facilitated discussion and a chance to connect with other moms in your community.

  • Where: Strongstart Room at Cumberland School
  • Cost: No cost. Pre-registration is not required

Family Paint Night

Instructor will provide all the materials and guide participants through each step of the project to create a themed painting. This is a beginner friendly project open to children aged 7 and up. Each child must have an individual adult to work beside them.

Red Cross Stay Safe Course

For Youth Ages 9-13

Participants will learn about being safe when they are without the direct supervision of a parent, guardian or trusted adult, both at home and in their communities.

  • When: Saturday, May 25, 9 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Where: Beaufort Multi-Purpose Room, Cumberland School
