An annual event in the Village. Stop by Alley Cuts for a haircut by donation with all proceeds going directly toward CCSS programs.

The CCSS Spring Cut-a-Thon 2024 was a big success, raising $1,261 towards our Healthy Food Program, After-School Activities, Community Programs, operating the Youth Centre, and of course, the Cumberland Food Share. Not only that, but some members of the Cumberland community got a super savings spring spruce up!

CCSS would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the stylists who donated their time and skills, Chelsea Hilbert and Sara Wain of Alley Cuts , Darilyn Keene of Back Alley Cuts , Jonny Poettcker of Uppercut Barbershop , and Ben Woodloft of The Parlour. In addition, Heather McLeod and Felicity Buskard ran the polish station like true champs, and our team of donation taking and ticket selling volunteers made it all go smoothly.

We also want to acknowledge everyone who came out for a cut and or a polish and made donations to this fundraiser!

This is an annual event that typically takes place early May.
