Lunch Program
Our Healthy Food Program provides nutritious lunches to children & staff at Cumberland Community School. In 2023, CCSS served 43,088 meals and 9,454 of these were provided free of charge to low-income families.
The Healthy Food Program operates Monday to Friday with a different meal offered each day of the month. Meals are sourced from local vendors, or prepared in house. The program is open to all Cumberland Community School students & staff, and to children attending Adventure Daycare.
How does it work?
Once a month, a menu and order form is distributed and posted online. Lunches are $5.50/regular and $5.00/small with subsidies available upon request. Families can choose to order as many or as few meals as they would like. Orders can be submitted online or via the paper form.
In addition, breakfast is provided at no cost, 5 days a week, to any student needing support.
